Shopping

Not just window shopping in the French Riviera

You can’t truly relax at a villa for rent in Cap Ferrat and not think about going shopping at some point during your stay there. We have compiled a list of the cities that are highly recommended by our staff as having the finest deals for your convenience.

Monaco

There is little doubt that Monaco is the center of luxury shopping across the world. The brand-new “One” area opened its doors to the general public in March 2019, and it is conveniently located a short distance away from the renowned casino in Monte Carlo. The theater has been transformed into a retail district by the likes of Prada, Louis Vuitton, Dior, and Yves Saint Laurent, amongst other high-end luxury brands. MC Market is located in the Larvotto neighborhood, and it is a great place to look for potential modern labels who aren’t yet ready to open their own shop. And moreover, are you familiar with the upscale secondhand store known as SELLIER? If not, then you are missing out on a great opportunity. Everything made of leather may be found in excellent condition, from beautiful Birkin handbags to commonplace tiny leather products made by a variety of companies.

San Remo, Italy (the Mall)

It is somewhat unorthodox to begin the journey with an outlet, but this shopping center is truly a crown jewel of the French and Italian Rivieras. The Mall Sanremo, which is situated only a short distance from the French Riviera, is a new level of luxury shopping that has been brought to the area. Visit the Balenciaga store if you are looking for something on-trend that is also affordable. There are constantly brand new customers arriving. Bottega Venetta, Gucci, Jimmy Choo, and Burberry are just few of the additional names that can be discovered at this location.

Polygone Riviera

Because there was so much enthusiasm when it initially opened in Cagnes-sur-Mer in October 2015, motorists were trapped in traffic for days before they were able to explore the new shopping paradise. Since then, Polygone Riviera has amassed a greater amount of fame. The sheer variety of goods available at this outdoor shopping center, which is designed to evoke the atmosphere of a sleepy village in Europe and features a lake and a thousand different kinds of trees, is remarkable. This is not only a promotional event; rather, it is a genuine hedonistic vacation on the Côte d’Azur! What are the advantages of doing so? Where better to begin than with the retail establishments? There are a total of 170 categories, including things like clothing, home decor, eyeglasses, beauty products, art, literature, children’s books, and gardening. Luxury brands such as Boss, IKKS, Aubade, Valentino, Calvin Klein, and others coexist in the same space as fast-rising labels such as Nue 19.04, American Vintage, Jott, La Fée Maraboutée, and Others Stories. Bershka, Pull & Bear, JD, Zara, Mango, Primark, FNAC, and Uniqlo are among the other brands that can be found there. The store’s oldest and most well-known name brand, Le Printemps, takes up an enormous 9,000 square feet of retail space. Visit one of Printemps’ premium consignment shops, whether you’re looking to purchase or sell pre-loved items.
